Eric's Half-Ironman Training

I am now training for my second half-ironman race. The race is in Boulder this time in August, 2007. I finished the Florida Half-Ironman in May, 2007. Wish me luck!

Warm up: 400 drills
400 pull
200 swim/drill
200 swim: 4:39.31
6x50 Fast: 53.66, 53.6, 52.36, 51.84, 57.31, 48.52
Total: 1,500 meters

I was able to swim a little better today at the pool. I really started focusing on drills and form. My workouts are supposed to be at a longer distance, but I am not concerned about it. My second to last 50m wasn't the best because my goggles leaked.

Time: 2:12:04
Distance: 16.2 miles
Pace: 8:09/mile
Avg Speed: 7.36 mile/hr.
Elevation: Max: 5,779ft Min: 5,511ft
Calories Burned:

What a great day for running! It was cool and drizzly. It drizzled a little but not too bad. My time rocked and I felt pretty good most the way. My stomach was bloated again, but I kept running. Whats new? I got my stats today from It's a pretty good site and neat to see my elevation drops and gains.
